Frank Keck

Founder & Systems Architect
Human Systems Engineering

For more than three decades, I worked inside organizations helping leaders communicate more effectively and build stronger teams. Over time, I began to notice a pattern. Conflict was often blamed on personality, culture on attitude, and performance on motivation. But when you look closely, those explanations rarely hold. They describe what is visible, not what is actually causing the issue.

What is really happening is misalignment inside the system. Signals get distorted. Resistance builds in subtle ways. Effort is still there, but it does not translate into results. The problem is not a lack of capability. The system is creating drag. That realization changed how I approach the work.

I remove friction so leaders operate with more capacity and focus on what matters most.

Experience

I began my professional speaking career in 1990 and have facilitated more than 10,000 hours across more than 300 organizations.

Over time, that work evolved from leadership development to system-level design.

Organizations have included:

Kiewit
Salas O’Brien
Texas A and M affiliates
Cornerstone Credit Union League
NASA
FDA
U.S. Navy

The focus today is on long-term engagement. Redesigning the structures that shape leadership, communication, and decision-making.

The Philosophy

I do not believe in pushing harder.

I believe in designing better.

Leadership is not persuasion.

It is the discipline of designing conditions where clarity, safety, and momentum can emerge without pressure.

That is Human Systems Engineering.
